Description
What is the purpose of Shamanism?
Shamanism activity is mainly based into mystical practices for restoring health, cleansing, purifying, and improving the relations of the individual with his inner self and the forces of nature and the universe. Shamanic practice reconnects us to the source of wisdom and helps us to develop a higher state of consciousness. This integrates the mind and body into a personal vision of harmony and balance
For the shaman, the conception of “man” is a holistic one, his system helps us to create a higher state of consciousness in which blocked energy and limited beliefs are transmuted by the focused intention of the minds and hearts of the participants.
Shamanism is an ancient therapy that is being practiced in modern times as an alternative healing modality.
Like many indigenous systems of healing, shamanism regards disease as an imbalance and offers ways to restore and preserve physical, emotional, and spiritual health by re-establishing the body’s natural balance.
The Shaman’s ability to heal derives from many ritual activities, such as drumming, chanting, meditations and movements. As waves of vibration that induce relaxation, psychological integration and enhance the function of the neurotransmitter system of the body.
What is a Shamanic initiation?
Initiation is a series of experiences that generally occurred during visions, dreams and trances. In shamanism there are several ways of being initiated, the most traditional way is by inheriting from a lineage, from a spiritual call, from trance and dreams, or by a circumstance when the person have close experience with death, as a physical accident, a deep illness, or as being struck by lightning etc.
The acceptance of a shaman by the community is often another form of initiation. The method differs among cultures, but the essence of initiation is the same.
Initiation is an experience that connects us with the inner life of the spirit, into a new level of energy and awareness, It can also signify a transformation in which the initiate is ‘reborn’ into a new role.
There are also certain ceremonies or ritual practices or journeys in which the shaman may be expected to be accepted before being considered to have been fully initiated as a shaman.
A new shaman is a great asset to the community, helping to solve problems, look into the future, heal illness, or find lost objects and missing persons.
Initiation is a rite of passage ceremony marking entrance or acceptance into a group or society. It could also be a formal admission to adulthood in a community or one of its formal components.

What is Shamanism?
Shamanism Is an ancient way of healing – an ancestral spiritual practice of ancient civilizations and cultures, for accessing and interacting with the unseen world, the world of spirits, plants and animals, the intuitive and spiritual realms for guidance and healing and it helps developing higher level of consciousness. It is an ancient form of healing that dates back 40,000 years ago, once medicine practiced by every indigenous culture on the planet. In practice is used to heal and enlighten, using ceremonials which can include rhythmic music, mind altering drugs and mythic journeys into the subconscious.
In these traditional belief systems it is considered the entire universe to be alive and interconnected. In shamanic healing practices, disease is a reflection of imbalances or heavy energies held in our luminous body or vital energy. These may be sourcing from our own core beliefs, toxic thoughts, karmic residue; or may come from outside sources, such as ancestral wounding, trauma, “energy darts” or spiritual intrusions.
The origin of the word “shaman” Derives from saman, used by the Tungus people of Siberia, means “one who travels, as spiritual journeying is a characteristic of all shamanic work. In Peru, traditional healers from the mountain region of the Andes are known as “Paco”. The one from the Cost region “Curandero”, the one from the Amazon region “Kuraka” and the one from the Altiplano, “Yatiri” or Kalawalla.
Medicine man and woman are considered the communicator between the physical and the spiritual worlds.
Shaman Healing Session
A private shamanic session with Amaru
is focused in the shamanic traditional way of channeling and harmonization of the universal vital energy.
Amaru uses traditional tools, such as sacred stone, crystals, rattles, chants, and prayers to be used as regenerators for re-imprinting light-codes of the vital energy (Illumination). You can receive the benefits of shamanic healing no matter where you live. Both distant and in-person shamanic healings are available and are equally effective, because shamanic healing is performed in the energetic spiritual level.
In the world of energy, there is no such thing as time or space. Long distant healing, also known as remote healing, or absent healing effects are now being proven by science with Quantum Physics discoveries that energy is not restricted to any time or location.
Extraction Healing (Intrusive Energies)
Extraction is a shaman therapeutic ritual, a form of energy healing which involves the removal of inappropriate “intrusions” from the spiritual body used in severe case of energy imbalance or when an intrusive energy invade or “sucks” our energy.
An intrusion may be experienced as pain, discomfort or an energy block in your body. In shamanic terms, this is caused by energy that is interfering with your power or process.
In a holistic thought when the body is being affected by an intrusive energy, it can become addictive negative emotions and directly it can affect our creativity and focus, clarity and balance in our everyday life situation.
These misplaced energies can be removed or extracted, allowing the flow of healthy, vital life force again, and a return to health and wellness.
Soul Retrieval (Soul Loss)
Soul Loss is a shamanic term used to describe an imbalance caused by the loss or disassociation of some part of our vital essence. It is a spiritual illness caused by trauma that can result in emotional or physical disease.
Soul retrieval is an ancient form of spiritual healing in which the shaman, (through prayer, visioning, soul flight and tracking) locates the lost vital essence (or soul parts) of the client and reintegrates them to restore Sacred Balance.
Shamans believe that when a person suffers from a physical or psychological trauma a part of our soul splits off and no longer contributes to the person’s whole being.
Retrieval of power has the function of finding and retrieving the lost part of the soul and the essence of this person. The Shaman finds and brings it back and restores it, returning back to you the strengths and energies creating a new resonance energetically allowing a person to shift and move forward in life in a deeply healing way, making you whole once again.
Power Animal Retrieval
Power animals are an essential component of shamanic practice.
In Andean Traditional Medicine it is belief that everything is alive and carries with it power and wisdom. Shaman medicine is referring to the special power that spirit gives to each part of creation as plants, rocks as well as creatures of the animal kingdom.
This medicine increases our connection with the spirit of Mother Earth “Pachamama” and can bring us healing, strength and wisdom.
The retrieval of a lost power animal can be a spiritually empowering and awakening event, helping to restore vitality, self-esteem, creativity and enthusiasm to your life. Your animal helps you recover and live from your personal spiritual power.
Curse and Spell Removal
Curses are composed of patterns of negative energy, or specific combinations of thought forms that are designed either consciously or unconsciously, to break up the flow of power within the person who is cursed. Curse is a form of spiritual attack and can cause illness and patterns of “bad luck.” When cursed is removed the universe ceases to conspire on your behalf. Removal of curses can produce physical healing and create powerful improvement in life force and quality of life experience.
Shamanic Home and Land Clearings and Blessings
Shamanic Space Clearing is a ritual where the shaman re-emprint misplaced energies left behind in houses and properties that people who once lived were living under events of imbalance, violence, trauma, disharmony, even curses that continue
a negative influence. This energy can be the spiritual cause of continued conflicts, disharmony, imbalance and even illness.
In cases where a house may still holding the spirit of someone who died in it and is now ready to be psychopomped.
Shamanic home Clearing raise the vibrational frequency of your home, office and propieties.
Shamanic Couple Relationship Blessing
A shamanic couple relationship blessing help to reafirm their commitment to eachother empowering and embellishing a union with the natural elements and spirits that we live among. A ceremony of despacho munay is performed by the shaman to integrate the astral energies and Mother Earth, “Pachamama” with the energies and wishes from the couple.
Shamanic Psychopomp Healing
A Shaman is able to heal both the living and the deceased. In healing those who died, the shaman may perform a psychopomp ceremony to help the Soul of the deceased cross over to a welcoming and peaceful place, often to be reunited with predeceased loved ones.
Psychopomp is shamanic method of guiding spirits of the dead to the place in the world of Spirit in which they need to go, is a Greek word that literally means ‘leader of souls’ and refers to the person who conducts souls after death into transcendent realities.
This describes the action of a Shaman who accompanies the soul of a person who is dying on its transformation and journey back to its immortal spiritual home
FULL MOON – SACRED CACAO CEREMONY
Fire Ceremony
In Inka, Hopi, Tibetan, Mayan, and other indigenous societies throughout the world, the elders carry on the tradition of gathering around a fire when the moon is full and dreaming of a world that they’d want their children’s children to inherit. On that evening, they quietly arrive in a circle of dreamers, knowing that while what they have to offer is just a tiny piece of the larger puzzle, it’s important that they show up with love and intent and participate in the dreaming process.
At serpent (at the physical level), they know that they need to sit by the fire. At jaguar (at the emotional level), they realize that they must bring with them their love and curiosity. At hummingbird (at the mythic level) they offer their contribution without comprehending how it fits into the collective dream. At eagle (at the level of Spirit), they see the larger picture before them and understand the totality of the dream without being able to express it or define it. They feel immersed in love, connected to all. No longer experiencing “I”, but the power and wonder of Spirit. They become the moon and the stars, fire and the smoke, each other and themselves, no one and everyone.
The transformational fire ceremony is done on the full moon of each month. Traditionally, one participated in a fire ceremony for approximately a three-year period before beginning to do it for yourself. Then another three-year period was spent doing it alone (or with your teacher) before you attempted to do it for others. Until recently, this was the training process for this ceremony. Now, shamans say that there is “no time” for this lengthy process, that the earth and our civilization are in such great peril that students should begin to do the fire ceremony as soon as they are guided to do so. In my experience, the fire then becomes the teacher. It will let you know immediately if your intention or attitude are not pure or in tune with the tradition.
